The Best Pattaya Hospitals

Medical tourism in Thailand has made Pattaya hospitals famous. Hospitals in Thailand are popular among tourists who are looking for low cost treatments and surgeries.

Rather than going with the cheapest possible option, choosing a reputed hospital can help ensure that you are in the hands of a qualified practitioner. While there are many hospitals in Pattaya, some are better known for their services and facilities than others. Besides, you may feel more comfortable in a hospital that meets international standards.

Currently, We Are No.1 Go Go is the only go go bar in Jomtien Beach. Until recently, its nearest competition was the Freeway on Pratumnak Road, however this has since closed. Probably the main reason for this has been that in the past the customer base for go go bars in Jomtien Beach has not been as large as one would find in the Pattaya Beach area. As such you tend to find that new Jomtien Beach go go bars don’t open that regularly. In fact, since We Are No. 1 replaced an earlier go go bar named Champion 2 A Go Go that existed in the same venue, no other go go bar in Jomtien Beach has been opened.

In general, these private hospitals in Pattaya are the ones that tourists prefer as they are very similar to the hospitals in the west. Another big hospital, Banglamung, which is located in Naklua, can be used for minor ailments. Being a government hospital, it is cheaper than the private hospitals but be prepared to face a language barrier.

Don’t be surprised to find that you have to pay higher prices compared to Thais at these Pattaya hospitals. Some hospitals follow a three-tier system of pricing where walk-in tourists pay the most, foreign long stay visitors pay slightly lower and the local Thai people get the lowest rates.

You may also find certain standalone clinics with excellent facilities that offer cosmetic and dental treatments. However, the advantage of being in a full service hospital is that they have specialists in every area, if anything should go wrong. Therefore, it is best to choose one of the good hospitals in Pattaya for your medical treatment. This will not only put you under the care of reliable specialists, but also help with other formalities such as insurance as the customer service staff can advise you on all the various options so that you get the best possible deal on your treatment.
